Where it stands

Primm Valley Casino reopened at noon on Wednesday, July 22, 2026 under Terrible's management, with 422 gaming machines, 250 rooms and the William Hill Sports Book, at 31900 Las Vegas Blvd S (Las Vegas Sun; Action Network).

The property had actually closed June 29, 2026, and Terrible's assumed management at 12:01 a.m. on July 5, 2026 (Las Vegas Sun; News3LV), after Affinity's May 5, 2026 termination notice said all Primm operations would close by July 4 (Los Angeles Times). The land is owned by Primm South Real Estate Co. (Los Angeles Times) and operations were taken over by Terrible's (FOX5 Vegas). Buffalo Bill's has been closed since July 2025 and Whiskey Pete's closed December 20, 2024 (Action Network).

Approvals and public record

Nevada gaming regulators approved Terrible's with a one-year limited licence, reported June 26, 2026 (New York Post). No case numbers are listed in the sources we have.

What is not known

Long-term plans for Buffalo Bill's and Whiskey Pete's remain undecided, and what happens after the one-year licence expires has not been stated (New York Post). No capital cost for the reopening work has been disclosed, and this was an operational transition rather than a construction project, so no contractor exists to name.

Why it matters

Primm is the state-line gateway for California traffic, and the difference between a closed and an operating casino there shows up directly in border-corridor employment and traffic. The one-year licence means the arrangement has a fixed review point rather than being settled.
